Matthew Davis on set of Cult

We met up with Matthew Davis today while he was filming his tv show Cult.

When we met Matthew in Los Angeles during Paleyfest, he was absolutely amazing and super nice. Then when we met him during the pilot, he was a little...off? He signed his Twitter name instead of his autograph and we were confused.

This time though, it was the Matt Davis we remember. He was absolutely amazing. We talked about how he loves Vancouver (although he's happy he doesn't have to film here in January & February), and how much he hated Atlanta. He said he misses Vampire Diaries but in no way at all does he miss Atlanta and hopes he never has to go back.

 

We're HUGE Vampire Diaries fans, and the majority of what we got signed is personal collection. We're also starting a few combos with Ian & Paul in hopes of them maybe doing Paleyfest again next year, or seeing them again at some point.

 

 

We've been holding onto this 11x14 with Sara Canning on it since the Leo Awards. Super happy to get that completed. Shout out to @canadagraphs for helping out with the proof pics today.

Storybrooke & The Oliver Queen Nightclub

Yesterday a lot of shows were out on location and we managed to stop by Steveston and later in the day the Arrow set.

First at Steveston, the security is getting a lot tighter when it comes to autographs. Josh Dallas, cool as always, came over and signed all the photos we had.

We were happy to finally get Robert Carlyle on his new promo photo and a really sweet Bond 11x14 for our collection. We also got autographs from Lana Parrilla, Emilie De Ravin & Ginnifer Goodwin. (No pics of them signing as most of the cast signed the photos in their trailers)

At the Arrow set, Colin Donnell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey & Stephen Amell were on set. Stephen's a really nice guy and signed our photos and completed a couple combos with Katie.

Spencer Locke

The very cute Spencer Locke is a guest star on the Vancouver filmed show Cult. We knew she was in town but only for a few days and managed to catch up with her at the airport on her way back to Los Angeles. Spencer is someone we have wanted to get for awhile being big Resident Evil fans. She didn't go to the new Resident Evil premiere, and disappointingly wasn't even in the film.

She was extremely sweet and added her character name K-Mart to the photos she signed. Really happy to add a couple 11x14s of her to the collection.

Collectors

We started in this business as collectors and eventually realized that to fund the collecting, we would have to sell a bit. It's a given that if they're a comic book star, we keep at least 75% of the photos they sign for us.

After collecting for 4 or 5 years the collection can get quite large. As much as I want to keep the 25+ Robert Carlyle photos (the guy is extremely talented and every photo is a different great role we love him in), there's only so much room in the binders!

When filing new photos into collection *ahem 5 Stephen Amells* we pull out older photos to make room. This is why a Jennifer Lawrence we got 6 months ago has to be taken out to make room (and pay for) the 5 new photos that will be going into the binder. If you don't see something you want, check back as our collection is pretty big and we are always slimming it down!

New (and old) photos are being added constantly so it's best to keep checking! If you have any special requests for this upcoming holiday season, please let us know! Especially if you need an item in a rush, we'll do everything we can to help fit your needs!

Radha Mitchell

Radha Mitchell has been in the business for quite awhile, and we were excited to get her being fans of her work. She's not super happy to sign autographs, but will do it if you catch her in the right moment. We got her most recently after she was visiting friend Ally Sheedy at the Psych wrap party.

Nostalgia Post: Giancarlo Esposito

I'm going through our large proof gallery on my computer and re-watermarking and recalling getting these celebrities.

I passed through our Giancarlo Esposito proof. This is a guy I wish we had gone harder for. Giancarlo was in Once Upon A Time. Neither of us had ever watched Breaking Bad so didn't understand why he was a big deal.

 We got him on a couple photos, he wasn't the coolest guy. By no means was he "uncool" but he just wasn't super happy to be signing autographs. So we never went after him again. Flash forward 8 months later and thanks to Netflix we're now getting into Breaking Bad, and also watching Revolution. Man we should have gone up to him a little more. LA guys say he's really cool, maybe we caught the wrong moment. Fingers crossed the genie returns to Fairytale land.
