Once Upon A Time Paley fest 2012

It's been awhile between posts, not because we haven't been working, but because honestly I think I can only post so many Once Upon A Time and Secret Circle blogs (seeing as those are the most common autographs we get). But yet, here's another.

The Once Upon A Time cast was in Los Angeles for Paley fest on March 4th. The majority flew out on March 3rd and we were able to get autographs that day from Robert Carlyle and Lana Parrilla. The rest came back the evening of the 4th, and we got autographs from Jennifer Morrison, Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin and a few more Robert Carlyles.

 

This entire cast is amazing. We don't get Robert as much but when we do, he is very willing to sign everything you brought out. Josh and Ginny are two of the coolest people we've ever met. Jennifer Morrison is always really obliging and willing to talk for a little while.

Josh Dallas

Once Upon A Time has been filming in Vancouver since July of last year. We've gotten up to the entire cast on multiple occasions and they are all wonderful people; Josh Dallas however, may be the coolest.

Every time we see this guy he wants to chat about us, and talk about how our week has gone, etc. He's just overall one of the nicest celebrities you will ever meet. He will gladly sign pictures, pose for photos and answer any questions you have for him.

Last night he flew in from a week off in Los Angeles and signed the photos we had.

Piper Perabo and Sebastian Stan

Today was a pretty decent day when it comes to autographing. It was a rare sunny February day and we took advantage of the lack of rain.

After a little while of being downtown, the first person we saw was James Marsden. He signed 2 for each of us and was a little less pleasant than before but still came off as a nice guy.

A little while after that we saw Will Patton of Falling Skies. He wouldn't let me take any photos as he's very against pictures but signed 2 for those that asked.

We managed to catch Piper Perabo on her way to a yoga class. She's in town for Red Machine as well. She was very delightful and pleasant but wouldn't take pictures with because she was insecure about not wearing any makeup.

After that we got Sebastian Stan heading to Starbucks. He was a super amazing guy, not at all what I expected. He signed everything we had for him as well as posed for photos and talked to us for a bit. We're beyond ecstatic for the guests Once Upon A Time has been bringing in this season and look forward to the future ones seeing as it's almost a guarantee the show gets a 2nd season.

 

James Marsden

We've been excited to meet James Marsden since hearing he'd be starring in "Red Machine," with Billy Bob Thornton and Thomas Jane.

We went to the airport today hoping to actually catch a different celeb when we saw James come out. He was coming off a long and early flight from New York where he had just filmed a week of 30 Rock and was clearly very tired. He signed 2 photos for us no problem, was very pleasant but definitely rushed a little bit which we attributed to his long day.

After he signed he was happy to pose for a photo and said that he "hopes to see us again soon."

Jensen Ackles

Today we got the awesome Jensen Ackles of Supernatural fame as he headed home for the weekend. Jensen is a fantastic guy who loves just talking to his fans and is always great for signing. He signed a nice 11x14 that he couldn't help but comment on how old the photo was.

The photo already had Jared Padalecki on it from a previous encounter.

Rachel Nichols

We started today hoping to get autographs from Kevin Costner who stopped in Vancouver for 2 days to film a part in Man Of Steel. Unfortunately the traffic in Vancouver is just horrible and we barely missed him by 5 minutes.

We went downtown after the disappointment and found the set for new Canadian tv series currently titled "Out of Time" starring GI Joe beauty Rachel Nichols.

After waiting outside in the cold for an hour, shooting finally stopped for lunch and we were able to call Rachel over to sign a few autographs. She was extremely pleasant, personalized all but also picks and chooses the photos she will sign. It seems a certain photoshoot she doesn't like the images and will just say "I won't sign this one." and continue onto the next.

She was delightful, signed everything we had for her (that wasn't the sexy photoshoot) and had a good conversation with us until a crew member pulled her away.

Josh Hutcherson

Today we got Josh Hutcherson at YVR as he was leaving to head home after a snowboarding visit to Whistler/Vancouver. Josh is going to be a huge star soon with his lead role in the Hunger Games so it was phenomenal to get him before he becomes the next Rob Pattinson.

Josh was super cool as I'd heard he was and signed everything we had for him, including our Hunger Games 11x14s.
