Genevieve Padalecki

 

Yesterday Genevieve Padalecki was out in Vancouver with her husband Jared and baby Thomas. We opted to ask Genevieve for her autograph seeing as she is very hard to get. She doesn't fly and obviously isn't on set (except for the rare visit). Jared was grateful to not be asked and was very cheerful and chatted to us for awhile while proudly showing off baby Thomas and his USA attire.

Genevieve is an absolute sweetheart and we love those two.

Jensen Ackles

We got autographs from Supernatural star Jensen Ackles for the first time this season. Sadly Jensen is a quick man in the mornings and we were unable to take any photos. Jensen is always super cool with us and gladly signs the photos we have for him. He said he was really glad to be heading home.

Laura Vandervoort

Absolutely gorgeous Laura Vandervoort is back in Vancouver to film the Christmas movie Twinkle. We've run into her on a couple occasions and she's always extremely sweet and very happy to talk.

She said she may actually end up moving back up here because she's always up here to film and absolutely loves it.

Tony Hawk

Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk was in Vancouver for a couple days to do a showcase and we managed to catch up to him on a couple occasions to sign some photos.

While probably getting a little tired of the autographing gig over the years, Tony signed no problem, but wasn't into small talk very much.

Jamie Chung & Sarah Bolger

Jamie Chung & Sarah Bolger are in town to film Once Upon A Time season 2. We were able to meet up with them during their first weekend in Vancouver. Jamie filmed Sucker Punch here so she's very comfortable in the city. We met Sarah Bolger at TIFF last year.

Both girls are super sweet and signed all the photos we had, as well as stood around and chatted for a bit before they headed off to see The Dark Knight Rises.

Josh Dallas & Ginnifer Goodwin ComicCon return

Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin came back from ComicCon and were once again the most amazing people.

Ginnifer was on her phone and apologized profusely for being rude while she was signing for us. Turns out they were stuck in customs for over 90minutes being (in her words) just yelled at and interrogated because they were claiming their work visas were expired and they were in the country illegally and we having their Nexus cards revoked. She said it was intense and embarrassing but in the end turned out okay for them.

Despite the crazy situation, both stars came right over to us and started chatting. This was my first time seeing Josh this season and he came right over to greet our new puppy. Once Ginny was off the phone she said "God I wish I could have spent more time with him! Don't let me hold him because I'm going to steal him from you!!" And while walking away hand in hand Ginny kept turning away to blow kisses at the puppy. I absolutely love those two.

On the same flight was Meghan Ory, but as a local she was out really quickly and signed a few photos for us as well.

Anna Torv

 

Tv season is back in full swing in Vancouver and we were lucky to get Anna Torv on her return from ComicCon. Anna is always very sweet and this time was no different. She was a little frazzled from being stuck in customs for work visa issues for quite awhile but still very chatty and kind to us.

Anna looks like she's been hitting the gym over the summer - her arms were amazing!

Jared Padalecki in Vancouver

Last night Jared Padalecki flew back from ComicCon. We haven't seen Jared in months because his wife and baby stay in Vancouver during the filming months with him so he never has reason to leave.

Jared knew that he hadn't seen us all in months (dating back to before Christmas) and immediately came over and greeted us happily and said, "Alright guys, I'm going to take care of you!" He then signed everything people had out for him and talked about how his little boy is growing up every day. He talked about his hiatus and how great it was just watching his son change a little bit every day. He also, as a very proud poppa would, eagerly talked about his excitement at Thomas' cooing noises.

The Supernatural guys are some of our favorite actors to see; as huge fans of the show they are always really cool and kind to us.

Michael Shanks

Michael Shanks had to be in Vancouver for tomorrow (July 14th) to begin filming the tv movie The Bouquet. Seeing as Saving Hope wrapped this afternoon, we knew he'd be flying in this evening.

Michael is always a class act. A very cool guy, friendly and wants to talk and converse with his fans. He signed everything we had and chatted for quite awhile afterwards. We told him that Saving Hope has been awesome to watch so far, and we have our fingers crossed he makes an appearance on Arrow.

Shenae Grimes

Last night Express held a VIP event that Mark Salling and Shenae Grimes attended.

We knew Shenae would be flying out today and went to the airport. We've heard some horror stories about Shenae in the past - how she doesn't like to sign for dealers, or males. When she got out of her vehicle she signed autographs only for a girl there getting photos signed for her boyfriend. She then said she would not sign at all anymore. She walked around the airport to change her flight and went to the food court. We spoke to her boyfriend and told him that yes, we are dealers but we're also big 90210 fans (which is true, it's a guilty pleasure) and we really want her autograph for our collection.

She came out of the washroom and we asked her again. She said no but her boyfriend asked her to sign for us and after giving him a death stare, conceded and signed quite a bit after talking to us and finding out we actually are fans.

Madeline Carroll

We managed to catch up with the very sweet Madeline Carroll one last time before she headed home to LA. She talked to us for a bit before catching her flight. We wish only the best for her in her career; she is a genuinely kind person and signed all we had.

 

 

Josh Dallas & Ginnifer Goodwin

The last month has been very slow for us, but tv season is back in full swing and it was really great to get to see our Once favorites, Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin. Both of them are really amazing people and very cool every time we see them. The hiatus hasn't changed them one bit. Josh immediately walked over and greeted with a hug. They both gladly signed the photos we had and we wished each other a good weekend.

 

Josh wanted to catch up on lost time and we chatted for a bit about the new puppy we bought (aptly named Loki, catch the reference?).

Absolutely love them as a couple and look forward to season 2.

We also got autographs from new season regular Meghan Ory and Evil Queen Lana Parrilla.

Stephen Amell

The new CW star Stephen Amell flew out to San Diego to promote his new show Arrow. Stephen is a cool guy who seems to really enjoy Vancouver so far (except for the Canucks!).

We're hearing a lot about how huge Arrow is going to be (CW is practically talking about 10 seasons akin to Smallville!) so it's good to get Stephen before he becomes the next Tom Welling.

Stephen signed a few autographs for us before catching his flight - but it seems someone has already spoken to him about autograph placement. On every single photo he signed, Stephen automatically placed his autograph in the darkest spot on the photo. Guess we're going to start bringing out the silvers to get him from now on.

Madeline Carroll

Madeline Carroll came into Vancouver to film another episode of the Haunting Hour.

We caught her out on the town with her mom and asked her to sign a few autographs. She posed for photos with our new puppy and signed everything we had. Very sweet girl.
