Willow Shields!

The adorable Willow Shields arrived in Vancouver to film an episode of the Haunting Hour. We spoke to her at the airport and downtown Vancouver about how she enjoyed the Hunger Games. She's a super sweet girl and was very willing to sign anything we had for her.

Easter Weekend (thus far)

Easter Weekend is far from over, but here's a recap of the last 3 days.

Friday morning Joel Kinnaman flew out of Vancouver airport with his parents who were visiting him. Joel is one of the coolest guys and spoke to us for a little while about how season 2 of the Killing will be much faster and intriguing. We congratulated him on his role as RoboCop and wished him luck in the future.

Friday night Serinda Swan flew back to Vancouver to visit her family and take in a Canucks game. She's a local girl who just doesn't come home enough! She was dressed down and not wearing any makeup at all, but she is still the most beautiful woman I've ever met. It's no exaggeration. She's honestly just stunning, a perfect 10 in person. And her personality is amazing. We've thought about purchasing a french bulldog soon and Serinda was more than happy to pull out her phone and show off her little guy Buddha whom she affectionately refers to as "fat head." I want Serinda to become a massive star because the girl has it all.

For anyone else's reference, should you get up to Serinda, she will not sign these two photos. She says she is "trying to get them out of circulation"

On Saturday morning we went and got a few autographs from the Edmonton Oilers. Jordan Eberle and Ryan Nugent Hopkins were machines and signed anything that was put in front of them. Needless to say, we were able to get everything done.

After that we rushed over to Vancouver airport where Jewel Staite was flying back home for Easter Weekend after spending the last couple days filming LA Confidential in Toronto. Even though she was fighting a cold, she was super sweet and happy to sign and pose for photos. I asked her to write "Shiny" on my Firefly photo and she was super cool about it.

Overall the first couple days were a success :)

Matthew Davis or Ernesto Riley?

We first met Matthew Davis in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago when he flew in for Paleyfest 2012. He signed for us with this signature:

 

He's in town filming the Cult tv pilot for the CW and we've gone up to him twice. The first time he signed like the above.  

 

And then, on the last trip up to him, Matthew Davis decided to change his signature:

  

We thought that he was just tired of signing so he wrote out his twitter handle instead....but then after talking to a few fans, discovered he signs that like from time to time too! Check out this signed script of the Vampire Diaries:

So there you have it. Matthew Davis signs as both "Matt Davis" OR his alter-ego Ernesto Riley.

Jensen Ackles

Jensen flew in last night from spending the weekend in Los Angeles. He signed for the 3 people waiting for him. Jensen is always really cool with us and loves chatting with fans about Supernatural.

Back in Vancouver - Kit Harington

A few days after getting back to Vancouver, we found out Kit Harington was already in town prepping The Seventh Son. We managed to spot him having lunch with a coworker and after he was done, he came over and signed every photo we had, gladly doing the same photo a couple times.

Kit is hands down one of the coolest celebrities we've ever met. He said Iceland is the coldest place on Earth and he wished he was able to film in Spain like the others. Every photo he signed that he had "snow" in his hair, he said he wasn't a big fan of because they always look like he has massive dandruff.

He was very eager to talk to us about Vancouver and what he should do while he's here. In the middle of our conversation he apologized because his mobile was ringing and it was his costar Ben Barnes! He said he had to get going but if we hung around for awhile we could meet Ben too.

Carly Rae Jepsen

Back in February, about 2 or 3 days after it was announced Carly Rae Jepsen had been signed by Justin Bieber, she tweeted she was flying out to meet Scooter Braun in Los Angeles.

We went to the airport and managed to catch her before she flew to LA and she signed a few cds and photos that we had for her. Carly is a super sweet girl and judging by how her single is doing so far, deserves all the success in her future!

The Selection cast in Vancouver

The highly anticipated pilot The Selection has started filming in Vancouver.

So far we've been able to meet Ethan Peck, William Moseley, Aimee Teegarden and Chad Rook. Every single cast member was super cool and signed a few photos for us and took pictures with us and other fans. William Moseley is hands down one of the coolest people we've met in recent years. He genuinely just wants to talk and get to know each of his fans.

Aimee's boyfriend is in town and they went out for Japadog last night and she signed a couple more pics for us in the process. Really excited for this pilot, the premise just sounds really awesome.
